Upson Emergency Medical Service   

On January 14, 2022, David Newton, Director of the Division of Health Protection at the Georgia Department of Public Health shared that he would award the Upson County Emergency Response Zone to Upson County EMS.  Upson County EMS is now licensed under the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Office of EMS and Trauma.

Upson County EMS partners with AmeriPro EMS to provide the citizens of Upson County with professional and responsive emergency medical services.  AmeriPro specializes in serving rural markets, and their leadership focuses on allowing counties the ability to grow and provide emergency medical services to their residents.  AmeriPro EMS offers a variety of services to become fully integrated into the communities they serve.  They participate in grant writing, emergency management planning, infrastructure building, and are fully tech enabled and data driven.
